Our vision

Our vision

In August 2018 we rented our first shelter apartment. Additional shelter apartments were added at the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023.

Our vision is a gradual expansion to additional protective facilities. – In particular, we want a large shelter house in which, among other things, animal-assisted forms of therapy and hobby gardening can be carried out.

This vision became a reality in the summer of 2023 when we were given the opportunity to rent a large shelter house!

This is the first facility of this size in Munich.

Founding story

The second time I was in the brothel, a woman came up to me and said, “Please help me out of here.” It was clear to me that there absolutely had to be protective facilities in Munich, because most women cannot overcome the hurdles and the path to freedom on their own.

They are usually traumatized, full of fear and first need a safe place where they can find protection and receive individual care and support.

I have seen the suffering of many women and noticed that they would like to live a self-determined life without coercion, control, manipulation, beatings and blackmail. Many women are extremely afraid and cannot do it on their own.

The path to a self-determined life is associated with many hurdles such as having your own apartment, a registration address, a bank account, a job, financial reserves, pension insurance number, social security number, health insurance, etc.

One doesn't work without the other. These are enormous hurdles that women have to overcome. In addition, their often poor knowledge of German and their trauma make this path more difficult.

This gave birth to the desire for a special place of protection for Munich in my heart.

Perlentor e.V. was founded in 2018 and the first protective facility was rented.

Years ago, God placed on my heart the women trapped in prostitution. They are wonderful women, many of them either fell in love with the wrong man or grew up in difficult circumstances. Some have been sold into the red light by the family as their 'providers'. Most women have had to deal with sexual assault as children.

Some fell in love with one Loverboy and were cheated and sold by him.

Each of these women is precious, unique and loved by God!
